cottage charm
Set amongst the picturesque countryside in a stunning pocket of rural Wiltshire, this charming early Victorian cottage has been completely renovated. As a second home, our brief was to improve the existing house with a fixed budget in mind.
character building
Decisions on where to spend the budget were central to our approach. We concluded that replacing the flooring throughout was a top priority, alongside the complete renovation of the two bathrooms. We also reconfigured the ground floor space to create a new utility room, generous boot room and dining area.
The characterful, open-plan living space has been furnished with interesting antique pieces and handmade textured rugs to define each of the separate areas. New lighting throughout and bespoke bookshelves help to create a layered, coherent interior.
